need advice for decision

I wouldn't say that seeing the father and grand father give you a good idea of color. There is a lot of variation in clutches. My Sambava male is from patron (picture at chameleonsnorthwest.com) and he fires up plain old green and with orange tints. My male fires up bright orange and red with white.

Anywho, here's a link to a picture of the female I was talking about. Taken with my phone. The flash and sucky-ness of my phone wash it out, but you can see what I mean.

she b a very purdy female....she got spunk ;P

She doesn't like anything that moves that she can't eat! I'm more afraid to get biten by her than a huge aggressive mellers that can't stand me! They both try to bite me, but she's lightening fast! She can wiggle out of your grip too! She's a demon!

Sorry for the mis-information I'm new with chameleons (tho I've wanted one for a long time). I'd still go with a male panther as I've yet to see one I didn't like. Also I still knowing at lest who the father is, is a good thing.

Totally disagree with that statement. Why would it not give you an idea as to color or barring? Just look at 90% of the males from any sire and you will see a resemblance. Females look pretty much the same from every locale. There are the few runts and odd balls in every clutch but 9 out of 10 babies will resemble the sire and dame.

You just basically disagreed with a time honored technique to determine how to pick a cham. Every breeder and keeper Ive ever spoken to has always said its advantageous to see pics of the sire and dame to determine how the offspring will turn out. Why else would every breeder post pics of the sire and dame?
