Need a definative answer!!!

I have been researching around for the ideal incubation temp and humidity for veiled eggs. I have found temperature ranges from 74* - 83* and humidity is all over the place. I have a hovabator and eggs on the way, and I want to get it right the first time (although I know its a learning process). So, what are the ideal temp and humidity I should set the hovabator to? Thank you for your reply!

I put my panther (I would do the same with veiled) in the top of my closet that is centrally located in my house. I think temp fluctuation is good, as it would happen in nature. I just had a clutch of panther hatch out and 24/25 hatched out and the other egg is still good. All the babies are healthy too. So I hope that is definitive enough :) As long as your house is fairly well insulated and heated and cooled I wouldn't worry too much as long as you keep it in the upper 60s or low 70s.

Thank you for your input. Is there anyone else out there that would like to help me out?

I would say you keep the eggs at a constant 26 degrees C (80 F) they will hatch on the 6 month of incubation.

It worked for me.

Incubating veiled eggs at 70 to 74 degrees has resulted in a 9 to 10 month incubation period with very strong hatchlings.
Incubating at a constant 80 degrees has resulted in a 5 to 6 month incubation period with many decent hatchlings and some with eye issues.
Incubating at a cooler range of 63 to 70 degrees has resulted in strong hatchlings that emerge in 10 to 12 months.
In a closed container with vermiculite and two small pinholes punched in the lid, with the medium at a dampness that when squeezed one or two drops of water can be extracted from a handful, I have to guess that the humidity sits at 80 to 100%

This has been my experience.
