I live in sunny Florida and it is still nice enough for me to let my chameleons play in the sun. Every other day i leave the window open for 3-6 hours (or until the sun goes away from my window). Both my chams will just sit in direct sun light for hours and not move an inch. I don't turn on their UVB and heat light because they are sitting in the direct sun light. I was wondering if that was okay? The only time i turn on their lights is if they move away from the sun or it gets colder outside. I currently have a veiled and panther and they both enjoy sitting in the sun and neither of them ever have their mouth open and i make sure to spray them frequently (every hour) to make sure they have enough to drink while they enjoy the sun.
