Napoleon is Going to College

Sort of, anyway. I have just made the deposit on my first apartment, which is walking distance from the university, and I'm allowed to take my veiled chameleon along! I am so excited.

I will be graduating in December, so I guess that that is exciting too.

To elaborate, I otherwise would have been depending on my dad to take care of him. I probably would have only seen him two or three times a week.

Do you know what either you or Napoleon will be studying? Maybe Napoleon could take some pre- vet classes.

I think it is wonderful you are taking him with you. . Congrats on it all.

The major is Asian Studies and the minor is Peace and Conflict Studies. I'm guessing my main selling points will be languages (French, Japanese, and Russian).

It's my fourth year. I overloaded myself with classes the whole time and took summer classes so I will graduate a semester early.

Since I got Napoleon, I've been driving half an hour to classes every day and twenty minutes+ to work most days (in a different direction). Now I will only have to drive to work!

Just make sure that guy knows he is well loved. I am always thrilled with how much people care about their pets.

Oh trust me, he'll know. He's a fairly social guy. I'll be taking along a fake 6-foot ficus and vines so he can come out if he wants to when I'm home.

That's awesome that you get to take him! A lot of times pets have to get left behind when university/college starts up. It's all about priorities and time. I'm glad you made it work

I've been searching for a way to make it work for a good while now, and I finally got it. He will be the best roommate ever.

Napoleon's cage got damaged during the move, so he has been free-ranging all the time and is loving it.
