Name Changes

So when I got my Cham I didnt know what to call him, so I started calling him Home-Slice. but recently someone posted a thread about nameing a veiled and the name Beldar(the dad from the coneheads) came up. And all I could do was:::FACE PALM::: I should have thought of that!!! Im a HUGE old school SNL fan(know the Blues brothers movies by heart). Do you all think that its too tacky to change his name now... and from to a "stolen name"

its your cham you can do what you want but yea if you like the name I dont see a problem alot of people name their kids Elvis or Jesus still.

Hey go for it... it's not like he hears you saying his name so for all he know his name was always Baldar! I legally changed my own personal birth name so go for it!

don't worry you are not going to confuse him by changing the name! Hey, I am from Chicago and love the Blues Brothers Movie also. That mall where they filmed the scene with the car chase that was called the Dixie Square mall and I used to live there! It closed down and then studio revamped it for the movie. Great movie and the sound track is awesome also! We have the poster in our garage of Belushi and Akroid....its 106 miles to chicago, we've got half a tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, its dark, and we're wearing sunglass HIT IT!!!! lol!! Oops didn't mean to quote Gensen! How did I do that?

No way! I totally made that recommendation as a not incredibly serious suggestion. I'm glad to see someone appreciated it.

I have seen much more off the wall names than Beldar for reptile pets, and I personally think chameleons look kind of alien.

I think its a cool name and have warmed up to it much more than when I originally made the post. I don't see myself getting a Veiled, but it would probably be my choice in name if I were to get one.

I say go for it!

I know the Cham isnt gonna care Syn. lol I was mostly posting this too see if other have had the same reactions to naming their Cham... Im usualy really good with names but he had me stumped
