I dont know actually. Guess they are.. They are so cool and i mean the hydration shouldnt be a problem lol

Illegal. But you can watch them in a cool Nat. Geo. documentary.

But why not to breed them? I mean it doesnt hurt to have some genes off the wild side. Like we do with all animals...

Think about where they are from, the differences in temperature, humidity, etc. throughout the day.
Also, think about how much room they have to move about.

There are thousands of elements you have to think about.

I doubt we will have successfully have any kept for years to come.

True but we can still bring home tons of reptiles from the same areas thats why i found it interesting to know if it was possible . I mean Madagascar is another part of the world isnt it? The only reason i could think of was hydration issues. And i guess thats the only thing.

Humidity - easy.
Temperature - easy in the day but at night it should drop alot!
100-200 insects a day?! - HARD ONE! (Hydration problem)
