Nahla's Neck is swallon

Here is a picture of Nahla's Neck. Any advice???? She hasn't had her eggs yet. I think I'm going to take her back to the vet. The Vet stated that she has a clean bill of health. Do any of you have any opinions???? I feel it might be due to her holding eggs. It really can't be a supplement deficiency. Unless its to much Vitamin C. My feeders eat Oranges and Turnip Greens. Another thing is she has a small belly. She's not really getting that big. I got her from Petco I hope she don't have MBD

It appears to be Gular Edema which is excess fluid in the tissues. From what I have seen on here, they sometimes get it when they have eggs, so hopefully it will disappear if that is the case. If not, it is not life threatening as I have had a male panther that has had it for many years. There are many speculations and opinions on what causes it from some type of organ failure to over supplementation. I barely supplement my old guy anymore so that is not the case. It can come and go in severity also and I don't think anyone has ever figured that one out either. Good luck with it!

As you can tell her nose is dirty. I wish she would just lay those eggs. Lol.. Thank you Carol I thought that might of been what it was.. I will let you know what the vet says. I think I am going to get an x-ray done on her just in case.. Thanks once again...

I think my male has starting getting this gular edema. Ive read all different supposed causes of it.

Has there ever been a conclusion on what could be causing this?
