Mycology Thread

Very cool man! Are those ones growing on a pinecone?

Yes sir ;)

The pine cone was right next to the big, brown, club looking fungi.

Ive never seen these brown club ones before, there are similar whitish ones that are smaller sometimes. These had the top surface area eaten off as well, thats why the tops of them look like dirt or something. ;/ The side surfaces had an almost scale pattern on them, and they left black liquid upon being touched even slightly. Weird crazy stuff! ;D

Excellent pictures :). The pine cone ones are cool, and I see you've even added some lichens to the thread........

The pine cone ones were really interesting because they were so small, and the thing was covered with them. I couldnt really get the pics from it that I wanted. ;/

Fungi may be the only thing more difficult to photograph than a chameleon. :p

This is the only pic I have on my phone, but I love taking pics of fungi as well. image.jpg

Hahaha but you has sunny days! Desert is different but honestly it is freaking awesome...NO MOSQUITOES and flies and gnats and rain and stuff... Oh and you dont have to mow your dirt!

No, but I have to spend a kings ransom on watering my grass, that I then mow, in a dry heat, that literally sucks the water from my body through my flesh, which is subsequently sandblasted by dirt and sand blowing through the air at 60+ miles an hour...and as I look up at the vibrant blistering sun, through a clear cloudless sky, with my hypersensitive eyes that burn at the mere sight of a candle, I take solace that at least I get to cuddle up next to a goddess...when our schedules work out...that, and the fact that mosquitoes are indeed fairly sparse this year...

...I think I need out of this country...or off this planet...

Your an over achiever snizzy. Rock that yard in!

VideoMaster: I dont talk about m word this time of year. :(

lots of moderate weather and cloudy days in BC, if ever you consider a move. LOts of mushroons too. and you could switch from AC and watering bills to winter Heating bills. LOL
