My veiled seemed quite upset today

My girlfriend and I started using the tweasers to feed her crickets so she would start to get used to us, but it seems she still isn't. She also was scratching at the walls a lot and I got kinda scared that she might be about to lay eggs but she is still rather small. We finally got her to crawl onto a little branch and then out of her enclosure so we could clean it but she really didn't want to be picked up.

She crawled up my arm and sat there for a few minutes but whenever I would bring my hand up to get her down she would hiss :( Finally we got her back onto a branch and back into her cage when we finished cleaning.

Any advice on why she might be acting like this? She always seems very eager to get crickets and gets a very pretty light green when she is eating.

My lady veil has never liked hands, but ever since she laid eggs, I have been getting my hands in her space a lot more. I've found, that if I go really slow and let her look at my hands, I can get them under her elbows and pull her carefully off her vines. She will still hiss, but if I stay calm and slow after the initial hiss, she lets me get away with holding her.

Who knows, maybe I'll get bit. Or maybe she'll get over it, and be more friendly.

Yeah I've really been hoping she won't bite! However when we first bought her she really didn't mind hands she just kept climbing and climbing! She hissed a couple times trying to get her back in her cage. I was as steady as possible and never grabbed her she would only climb from the stick I was holding onto me never right onto my hand.
