My veiled changed.. from glass to screen.. he became lazy HELP??

since i moved my cham from glass 50/50/80
to screen 60/60/120 he seemed to get lazy...
he does hunt even now and then... but mostly he waits for his prey to come up to the light... he still eats the same... but isnt realy active..
is it the stress from glass to the relaxed mood of screen or?
is it my lightning... i changed my 40 watt bulb basking to 25watt lamp..
the uvb light is the same.. still exo terra canno top 1 lamp the 26 wat 8.0
if im right.... and when he was in glass he always came out after feed
and now he mostly wanna stays inside... he comes out even now and then just not that often... i feed him every day mostly 4 waxmoth larvs 2 or 4
dragon worms.. forgat the name a bit.. 3 to 5 crickets.. and 2 locust

and if i need to change my light to A TL lamp which one is the best for me?
if thats the problem ... mabye he just is relaxed now when he in is big screen cage... his poop and pee looks good all white and last end a bit of realy tiny yellow heared that can be some shell bits ... ???
Any idea's or dont i need to stress my supplements are every day wihtout 3d
twice a month with 3d and twice a month exo terra multi my calcium every day is exo terra to and my cham is 7 to 8 months! thxx!

It may be that the move has stressed him slightly and it may improve with time.

Also, waxworms have a high fat content and are only recommended occasionally. Not as a staple.

On lighting, the Arcadia t5 12% UVB is a good tube light.

ALso are you feeding him all that food every day? Like in a day he eats 4 waxworms+other worms+crickets+locusts? If so i think that's way too much for a Cham that age. Maybe he's getting lazy because he's too heavy? JMO

ok so skip the wax worms and just give them as a treat???
andd yes i kinda feed that every day.. some
people say eat the much he can on 1 day..
but he dindt eat his locust today so only 1 today and
3 crickets size 8 cricket and locust big ones.. that is ..
so what shall i do feed him every day..?
and what shall i feed him whats the best? thxx

Yes the worms are fatty and should just be a treat if at all. I've seen people here recommending that you cut down on their food as they get older. Maybe 8-10 insects a day and them maybe only feed that every second day.

Crickets are good as long as you gutload them with lots of good food. Locust are good too. You should try silk worms as they ate very good for your Cham

ok ok yes i gutload with rephasy gutload my crickets and my locust
and silkworms.. i realy have no clue where to get them in holland
i asked one some other topic to if someone has an idea if anyone
knows a company that exportr them to any place in europe but no answer..
ok then il cut the waxmothlarvs for a bit then and give him 1 or 2 from my hand mabye he come more often out to.. and il just let him hunt for
crickets then and 1 locust every other day..

What were the temp & humidity in the glass cage and what is it now in the screen?

In the glass I expect the temperature/humidity variations across the cage were less than they are in the screen cage for a few reasons:

screen will hold less heat/humidty than that glass did
lower powered basking lamp in larger screen cage vs the stronger one you had in a smaller glass cage.

So you have done more than give him more room, you have completely changed his environment, he was used to temp/humdity being one thing and now most likely the new values are going to be lower than what he is comfortable with.

I see if you search for 'silkworms world wide shiiping' some websites will send you silkworm eggs but you'd have to hatch them yourself! Don't know how easy it is though.

a cool worm but is a treat is a hornworm they can turn into moths. moth's are a good treat

humidity around 65% 70 % same as in glass just spray less now
wtf holland.. high humidty always... can turn the
heat up in house a bit to drop the humidity a bit..
because of the screen top in glass cage.. it was metal mesh and 1
part i maked chicken mesh for uvb rays..
on the metal mesh was the 60watts lamp..
thats 50% lamp now 25 watts... because he was gasping and
he it was way to hot i mesurd it and was above 35 celcius and
that was on the wood where his basking spot is.. he is a bit higher so
that was allot higher now i use a regualer house bulb..
and its 29 ish...

you think he just needs to get used to the climate??? i hope
it all works out... dont want to things to get worse...
