My valid is randomly opening his mouth!!!!!

Is this normal ? I see him drink every mist which is four times a day should I be worried ??????

When is he opening his mouth during the day? While basking, when you come in, when breathing, randomly, what?

Yes during the day an he was doin it next to his basking bulb which is 75watt ... an I was walking bie the cage an saw him do it only happened one time

I wouldnt be too worried... sometimes mine open their mouth because they are hot or yawning. Is it when youre around him or just randomly? If you could get a photo that would be great (but its probably hard to)

Sometimes they gape while basking. If he gapes when you are around that can be a threat display also. not overly concerning.

He looks fine to me.
