I have a two year old Panther chameleon. she was doing fine yesterday morning she we eating and drinking then around 2:00 my daughter went down to check on her and found he hanging by the back feet and tail so she picked her up and put her back on the branches. Then around 11:00 we went down and found her on the bottom of the cage. When I picked her up she was very non responsive. but she was still breathing her eyes looked a little sunken in so I started to force her to drink some pedialyte every hour by 3:00am she started to get mad at me making her drink but she still won’t open her eyes and did not move much. Can anyone help me please or has had the same thing happen. I hate seeing her like this and want to make her better.
I do gut load my crickets before feeding her also I dust them every other day. She has an auto mister and a humidifier. The cage is at 80’ and the basking area is at 90’ she has an umbrella plant no bedding in a screen cage.
