My Outside Cage

Here is some pics of the newly constructed outside cage. The previous model had a huge flaw that allowed my cham to run away. The netting mesh was really weak and created a hole on the bottom. My cham found it and took off. Since then, I have upgraded the mesh to something stronger and added a misting system to the top.

I also added some shade cloth on the top to provide an escape from the hot sun. There is an umbrella tree, ficus, pothos, and hibiscus in there. I have the cage, plants, and weather. Now I need my cham back. I'm still considering, netting the bottom of the cage just to be safe.

Wow looks great. Still very sorry about your cham. I like your shade idea too. I would probably go ahead and net the bottom. I really cant tell how heavy your cage is but I know pvc is pretty light. Good job!

Yeah, go ahead and net the bottom, just in case he turns into He-Cham and decides to try to lift it up! It looks great, I hope you find your chameleon!
