Your new cham might be passing fecal from bugs she ate before you got her. She may have been on a different diet than your other cham. The pix are a bit blurry , but she may have slightly undigested poop from a lack of basking heat . Has she been basking at all for the past few days or hiding ? Is she drinking?

she's been basking regularly and when she first arrived, she drank like a fish b/c she wasn't packed correctly (no cold pack) so she was dehydrated. i mist w/ a mistking throughout the day so she has plenty of water.

this is only her second poop but i was just freaking out b/c it isn't like my male's poop at all. i was afraid it's a parasite, illness, etc. should i be worried or is clumpy poop just something that happens and it isn't a sign of something bad?

could be a few common possibilities.

1&2 - like the following comments said, could be lack of heat (aiding to digestion) and parasites. Though it can be quite easy for chameleons to get parasites, it is a very possible part of it. They do not look right.

3 - how late do you feed your chameleons? feeding your chameleons too late in the day (4-5 hours before lights out) than food cannot properly digest leaving clumpy stools and even with visible pieces of food.

4 - if had experience with runny stools with my gravid female. is there a chance your girl is gravid? how new is she and how old is she? is she wild caught?

To me neither look normal. I would recommend a fecal on your new cham and if you haven't had one lately on your boy I have one on him too. Here's what healthy poop looks like.

i'm getting a fecal done on both this week. i sent one of my boy last week but the vet said they couldn't read it. so i have to take them new poop of his this week and i was going to take my new girl's sample as well.

i feed them first thing in the morning (the female every other day). she's 7 months old and i got her on tuesday of this week. no she's not wc.

you say it was packaged wrong? and arrived very dehydrated? first of all, there is a main factor in why she is leaving stools like this. I suggest writing to Brad (the forum's administrator) and informing him of this as well. Accidents do sometimes happen in shipping unfortunately, but to have neglect as to not even putting something simple like cool packs in this hot weather is very unprofessional on their behalf, business and hobby. that is JMHO, i think Brad needs to be informed as our sponsors are really recognized and respected here.

back to your cham, any way of scheduling a fecal and exam appointment with your nearest exotic or best chameleon vet asap? this is your best way of fixing it fast.

also, what are your temperatures, it could be way to hot or too cool. and how is she drinking? her urates do not look the best either.

yes, i have an fecal exam setup for this weekend. the basking spot temp is around 80-85. i haven't seen her drinking since she first got home but i'm also at work all day. but i mist her cage w/ a mistking 5 times a day.
