Yay! What local is randall?
Not positive. The guy who sold me him didn't know. But he believed him to be part nosy be. Which he very well could be. I don't know. Can't wait for him to stop stressing out and show some color haha.

Heres some pics

He is still a little skittish. He thinks my camera on my phone is the devil. haha.

I thought it was a girl at first too! But then he/she started turning bluish and green all over. And his/her base color is pretty much a reddish brown. Guess it's a waiting game to find out for sure.

I got the foliage from petsmart online. It's a Fluker's pothos vine. And the sticks are pretty much outdoor twigs and what not, just make sure to dry them out and clean them.

How old did they tell you it is. If its under 5 months the current colors could be a male. But when i look at the vent/tail, you have a girl........ Some females show a little color.lance has shared some pics of a couple of his females that are amazing. I have a male noseybe .There are pictures of Mortimer in my album starting at 3 months of age

4 to 5 months is the age. And I noticed that there isn't much of a bumpy on the tail to be a male. But the colors make me second guess. Maybe I just found a very pretty female. :)

He/she is a total spaZZ, I can't put my hand near him before he freaks out and tries to hide or fight for his life. So far no injuries, phew. The only other chameleon i have owned is my female i raised from a few weeks old. And she has been very loving and loves to be handled. I guess I should just let my new cham adjust to his new home and let him be for now? it's just that I want to snap a few pics of him showing really good color so You guys can help me determine the actual sex.

They can be real pains when trying to get a pick. Just snap one right after he shoots a cricket. Usually catches them off gaurd;)

haha yeah. But I find i get the best pics when I take my female outside in the sun. But this new guy is one tough cham to handle. Before I know it he's running down the back of my leg and tryin to bite me.. hehe

My ambilobe was pretty skidish for a week or so after he arrived. One time he actually ran BACKWARDS into his foliage, zigging and zagging! He surprised me how fast he was! I was used to my jackson, she has one speed, almost stopped.:p He lightened up though, he still afraid of the camera, but after a few shots he mellows out.
