My New Beautiful Macaw

He is named Calvin he’s a rescued 10 year old green wing macaw he still has about 60 years in him kinda crazy I am bringing him home in a week or so anybody have experience?

Best advise I can give is get him off of a seed diet if that's what he is on. He's better off with a varied diet of rice, beans, various vegetables. The only time he should ever get a sunflower or other seed is if he does a trick on command. A fatty diet of seeds will shorten his life.
Give him a lot of enrichment type toys that keep him busy or he will get bored and start feather picking.

Not natural enemies—or from the same part of the world—but common sense tells me to keep it in a different room than your cham(s).
