My new baby

Hi.
Got my vieled chameleon baby just now. (She is 2 months old.)

And I have her in a petbox with some plants and sticks in it, just over the night since her main cage is coming tomorrow.

She is really brown colored. I guess she is stressed from the move she made.

Im a little worried.. She showed no intresest in the crickets I waved infront of her and she seem to be really determined to climb to the top of the cage and hang upside down(I got a lamp where she is hanging). But I guess it is just because she is a bit stressed over her new habitat?

Or what do you guys think?

babies like to hang upside down.

Almost all do it. Even my adult panther still hangs upside down when he can.

She probably is stressed, and it's normal for chams to not eat the first few days

get her into her proper set up, and try again.

I primarily cup feed all my chams.

SImply becuase i dont like loose bugs (i also only feed roaches)

And crickets find their way out of the cages almost all the time.

I dont hand feed babies, just adults, so if youve been doing this, avoid it for a while, to let her settle in.

right now- you are a predator.

She's actually probably cold, and that's why she's brown, trying to get close to the lamp, and refusing to eat. I'd leave her alone, and stop trying to feed her, until you get her cage setup and she can bask at the temperatures she needs. :)
