this is my cage: 24''x24''x48''
lighting: reptisun 7.0 uvb bulb. exoterra 50w basking lamp
plants: pothos and a rubber tree
feeding: crickers, superworms, and occasionally a waxie
feeder supplies: fluker complete food( acts as water and food), fluker vitamin and i will get the calcium dust in a day.

Is your reptisun a coil or one of those compact bulbs?

I believe the linear fluorescent tubes come in 2.0, 5.0 and 10.0.

I haven't come across a 7.0

There is a "reptiglo" 7.0 which i believe is suitable. I would still reccomend a repti sun but the reptiglo bulbs will work just fine but i'd steer away from a compact bulb.

Can you exchange it?
That light has caused some problems in the past.

You really need to try and get a Repti-Sun 5.0 linear fluorescent tube.

thanks but i may have to use the 7.0 4 a little while. but i will get the 5.0 in like a month or 2. my grandfather just died and we keep having to spend alot of money driving there and were a lil short on cash but in a month it'll be at my home. when i get the bulb, i will see if it is a desert.

also i just got the quazo so im still getting all the supplies to make him happier and it might take a while bec im only 14

Hmmm.

The problem is you could damage or hurt the animal by using this bulb.
If you absolutely have to use it, I would position it so that it hangs at least 10 inches above the top of the enclosure.
You could also take your cham in his enclosure outside in the real sun for an hour or two each day (be sure to mist a lot if it's hot) and not use the light at all.
