my first veiled

My male veiled chameleon came in today from TikiTiki Reptiles and he is a striking young chap if I say so myself. I will post pics soon. But my first question is how should I go about feeding him to minimize stressing Dr. Gonzo out. A cup or just let some crickets loose in the cage.

both of those work. i persoanlly hand feed both of my chams and they like it just fine. but yours may not allow that untill later or ever. try out what method works best for you. your cham will learn ^^

How long will they be ok without supplements? I just got him today and all my supplements come in Saturday. Will he be ok without any powders until then?

gutload your feeders well with leafy greens that have calcium in them and you will be okay! then start your schedule ASAP! have fun with your new little one

i like to encourage natural behavour and free the crickets into the cage, all though i do give my guys one by hand just to let them know where the food coming from, but they have to hunt the rest, i also like to introduce them to cup feeding just for occasions when it is needed, sick cham, givin meds ect,

I made a blend of apple, carrot, kale, and collard greens, I have it frozen in ice trays. Will that suffice for now?

That should be okay for short term until you get more. If I were you, I would use more variety in the long term.
