OK, well we bought a couple of ficus but I didn't know if there is a preffered brand of organic soil so I didn't get any. Home Depot had a Miracle Grow brand of organic potting mix, can anyone refer it? Or do you guys know of a better brand that is easily obtainable?
Also I created a couple of things and wonder what you guys think?
Cricket Feeder:
1. all purpose spray bottle
2. screen
3. hot glue
Water Catcher:
1. Glade Storage Container
2. Screen
3. Hot Glue
it's place right below the mister remote nozzle so this would catch the water without catching the chameleon.
I'm going to work on the plants ASAP, but i still don't have a drainage system so I might get that going before I put in the plants. Plus I don't want to stress him out too much i'm sure he isn't going to be too happy when he arrives.
Also I was trying to come up with a stand that could also support a drainage system. I spotted this kitchen cart we have. it looks similar to this:
except the one that we have has deep drawers and they are closer together. what is cool about this is that (atleast with mine) you can remove the chopping block and and underneath is a wire rack. It wouldn't work for large enclosure but it's a perfect size for my 18x12.x20
