Well, first in almost 8 years that is. The old man (in my avatar) is still doing ok, but I've been looking for a Faly for a while and I finally picked one up the other day. The breeder is holding him til I get my @$#& together, which brings me to my question:
Its been a VERY long time since I raised one and don't really remember everything. I've got cage/water/lighting covered, but I'm lost on food and suppliments, so Who's got the best care sheet and feeding/suppliment schedule right now?

Thanks,
Shawn

oh come on, your no noob!

Stick to the basics. food small enough for the guy to eat.... dust daily... temps a little cooler than an adult....

Depending on age/size I would tub the little guy... but after about 3 months maybe go for the 16x16x30 cage.

Congrats by the way :p

He's actually about 3 months, so I'm pretty sure he'll be on 1/4 inchers and BB flies when he gets here (hopefully he'll be past fruit flies and pinheads). All I really need to know is a good suppliment schedule. seems to be alot of different opinions now on all the d-3/calcium/vitamins. I don't have to suppliment the old guy much any more, but I know the new guy is gonna need a lot. I've got repcal, herpitive, and minerall(both red and yellow lid) all on hand, just not sure how to alternate them, and if there's anything else I should use.

use the normal calc. daily... and use the yellow cap minerall maybe twice a month. and throw in the herptivite (is that made by repcal as well?) once a month. maybe twice since he is young. Don't over dust though.... making little cricket ghosts isn't a good idea.

you can prolly stick with small crickets and silks and hornworms..... if we can ever get our hands on any ;)
