My poor scaly ones have been existing on a paltry diet of fattened crickets, mealworms and waxworms, but I just had a pod of hornworms and a pod of silkworms arrive.
My verdict so far:
Hornworms are cool, but bitey, luckily as a hands-on person my hands are part leather anyway, so no harm done. And I can't believe I have to bake cookies for them, I thought spoiling crickets with burgers was bad enough.
Silkworms waaaaaay to small for anything yet, so will need to work out what to do with those guys while we're waiting for them to get big enough to be eaten.
Scaly ones's verdict on hornworms:
Chameleon - Nom
Dragon - Nom.
Might surprise the geckos with them later, they'll need the extra energy after spending all evening yesterday doing very athletic shagging.
