My first Cham, son of Kandiroo

First off I would like to say that this forum rocks. Tons of great info, I spent three weeks reading all up on care, requirements, cage and feeding. Then last week I finally pulled the trigger and bought this little guy from Bruce at Chameleons Paradise. He took more than ample time explaining to me what I needed to do and answering my questions. We received this little guy in the mail today. My girls could not be more excited to get him. Opening him was quite the treat.

He crawled right out of his cup and into the cage. He ate 13 medium crickets and then laid under the light. He loved his mistking spraying him.

Then I put my hand in the cage and he crawled right up on me. So we took him outside to play on the deck for a little while.

He's very cool! I'm glad he's settling in nicely and being friendly! I have a Kandiroo baby too, welcome to the fam! haha

I was wondering the same thing as Kilnk about the 5 but I think it's a way breeders mark certain chams once they are purchased. And your guy has some nice colors, how old is he? I also bought from Bruce and you're right, he walks you through every step of the way, even if you don't need it which is nice to see he cares about the cham after he already sold it. The little guy I got was Candy Cane Jr son and he is about a year old now.

I have a brother of his and he is doing great...super friendly, he just shed and he keeps getting more orange on his belly, ....they look a lot alike:) very cool!

I did ask Bruce what the 5 was, its a way he marks them. We named him Stryker, he is 5 months old this week. He just had his first shed since we have had him the other day. You can see his new colors here. https://www.chameleonforums.com/stryker-showing-off-115631/
I can't believe how much orange/red he can show in no time. I would like to see pics of yours that are Kandiroo babies as well. Please post.
