I figured the black vines you can see in there I’m going to hook along the ceiling and near the window so she can explore the highest point of the room and get some natural sunlight! And I’m replacing them with some softer and after ones in her enclosure to avoid any injuries / scratches

Well P he’s definitely going to hate me today, I ordered food for her in bulk online and I time is it so when I run out of her food she would have a new delivery in which was supposed to be today I ordered it two days ago for next day delivery and it’s not here so I called the company to ask where it was and they got my order confused with someone else thinking I cancelled my order so I have to wait another two days I went in to the two nearest pet stores and there is nothing apart from wax worms and mealworms

Yes, I believe they are. They look like big ugly mealworms.

Jip, and if you keep them long enough they also produce some beautiful beetles which is a great treat for your Cham.

Yeah okay I’ve see them all the time! I’ll grab some tomorrow but they’ll only last a couple days, the pet stores near me never get new stock in of anything and those feeders are usually always dead

My mealworms are beetles now but she’s not even interested in them, I doubt she’ll eat them but I’ll put it to the test ans get some tomorrow

Considering I live on the coast you’d think there would be a load of bait/ finishing shops … there really isn’t I did ask my dad if the one near us is open still and apparently it closes down about 5 year ago

Nearest pet store to me is 2 hours away. 2 different bait shops within 17 miles.

Maybe you could try breeding your own insects. It sounds interesting and you wouldn't have to go to the store for food!

My veiled eats just everything that moves, including all kind of beetles. My other chams aren’t that thrilled with beetles, unfortunately.
