my chameleon's cage & her

She is pretty! I didn't see a linear UVB, do you have one of the coil kind? Because they are not recommended due to eye irritation

The coils have a bad rap from many years ago but the new ones are supposedly fine. Still, most of us the tubes. If you don't have any issues, then there is no need to change. I always say if you notice your cham having eye irritation then look at your bulbs first as the possible cause. ok, so I like how inventive you are with the IV drip!! lol! i would drip it just a little faster, so it catches his eye more. If you drip on a leaf it will bounce and make motion. He will be more attracted to that I think. Also, what light is that you have hung so high up? What is the reason you do not have it resting on the screen like the other one? oops, I see he is a she you said. Sorry!

Looks like a nice setup and a beautiful girl you have there. I read a great article on the lights in the online chameleon magazine. It said the main issue with the CFL is you need to keep it further from the enclosure as the concentration of UVB is greater coming from it due to the design. So if it is a CFL UVB it is good you have it further away.

yeah, this is my first pet ever, and my research was extensive. my only flaw is the cage size, but that'll be taken care of very soon
it is not coiled, it's actually linear, it's raised higher because of it's concentration, and it gives it a good radius aswell.
more drips, got it!
iv drip, clever huh? :)
1000ml, gets refilled once every other day, it's great really

^^

None of my chams have had any issues with the reptisun coils, as already stated they have changed. Congrats awesome job.

so is my setup good? i know it's small (16.5x16.5x21)
but i'm getting a 24x24x48 on thurs/fri hopefully not saturday, but we'll see
