my panther chameleon has a laying bin but she will not lay her eggs. it has been a while i would say about a month since i found that she was gravid. i know it usually takes 14-45 days but i am just worried she will become egg bound. i have organic soil in the bin but she has no interest in it. she has been going to the bottom of the cage but not in the soil.also this is her first time being gravid. lastly i don't think that i have good organic soil, so what type do you use?

Sounds like she's ready to lay but doesn't approve of the bin? A lot of people use just sand, I use a mix of soil and sand.
Sometimes a cham prefers to lay at the lowest level it can find, so doesn't like the bin inside the cage (my girl wouldn't lay in her cage either) - I would suggest doing what Jannb does and getting a large trashcan for her - https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/jannb/345-egg-laying-laying-bin.html
