My chameleon is dark green

I came home today from school and my chameleon is dark green don't no why he was light green yesterday and let me hold him but for some reason he won't let me grab him and he hissed at me I feed him 3 times a day i feed him 3 meal worms in the morning around 7am and three more around 1pm and three more around 8 or 9pm I also leave lettuce in his cage
He has a screen cage I have a dripper running all day and I spray his cage every hour or every two hours his humidity in the cage is around 70-90
He was shedding from his tail and I was wondering would that make him mad or stressed out?

Shedding can make them irritable and stressed.

Is meal worms and lettuce the only food items you've been giving him because if so, that's NOT good nutritionally.

If he likes greens, collards, mustard and turnip greens make for a much more nutritious meal.

Are you at least gut loading your meal worms?

Also, check your temps. Dark color could indicate he's cold….

What other foods would you suggest to feed my chameleon

There are some gutloads you can buy some of the ones I use are cricket crack and bug burger

Also he only shed from his tail is that normal or not
Also when they shed do they not like to eat

Sometimes they shed at different parts of the body i.e just the tail….

And since it's not the most comfortable thing in the world for them, it can make them go off food for a while...
