My chameleon is always purple

Just over a year. I got him on my birthday, last year, which was 4/1. And this year, I convinced my hubby that Echo needs a girlfriend from @ZacharyLeesWife . #ROADTRIP!!!

They need to hurry up and hatch. We both need very little spock feets in our life.

Personally id do a soil & play sand mix in a larger container its recommended depth is 12inches, remember to keep it moist it needs to hold the hole without collapsing, though some girls are really fussy compared to others, so the plant option in there could be used by her also in soil so keep moist but not soaking wet, they do require alot of privacy at this stage, but remember to keep a sly eye on her but without disturbing her as can put her off. Also remember some females love to do test holes 1st which they will dig cover up & deposit nothing. Laying eggs doesn't come easily to some females so is a nerve-wracking time especially your 1st experience & the females 1st combined. Your start to notice when she ready, she show receptive colours 1st, she will pass around more & can usually notice increased weight gain.. hope that helps

My beloved little Yemen lady was a little bit picky with her first lay, much less so with the second. She lays in organic top soil and moss mix, but she wants total privacy. If you see your little lady in her bin, cover the cage and let her do her thing. I actually had to set up a Webcam so Beanie had the privacy she needed. Your lovely girl looks a little young to me, but there should always be a bin.

How do you keep it moist in there ? Cause I hand mist her so if she's about to lay and I need to give her space how do I keep it moist ?

I use a little dripper. If you don't have one, you can even just put a few pinholes in the bottom of a milk jug and set it on top of the cage.
