My chameleon has weird spot on her back

My female veiled chameleon has a weird spot on her back. I have taken her to the vet and she said it was nothing to worry about. I don't think it is a burn because there is no place for her to burn herself. I first noticed it when she shed, a small piece of skin smaller than the size of a pencil eraser, stayed on a week after her shed finished. I got a small cloth and gently rubbed it and it came off but with a small black spot. It has since gotten bigger and I'm getting quite worried about it. Her environment is good. She has proper humidity, proper heat and basking areas and I give her a vitamin that has vitamin D in it. She eats and drinks well. She seems happy. I know she looks overweight in this picture, but it's just the way she's sitting. The vet says her weight is fine. Has anyone else ever seen anything like this spot?

Giving oyu an answer to hold you over until a more knowledgeable person comes along... Since the piece of shed stuck there I'd say that would be the main cause.. It doesn't really look like a bruise, and I'm not too sure what burns look like but I'll take your word on your girl not being able to burn herself. It may be some type of skin infection? How knowledgeable on reptiles is your vet? Not to question their answer, just curious, some vets say they are rep vets but don't really know too much about them.. was reading another post where they didn't know how the tongue looked on the cham, so something to consider I suppose. Since you said it's getting bigger I would start to think infection like I said but again I'm no expert and I'm sure someone else will chime in, more than likely Davidbuchan lol

Edit: also could you fill this out? it will help many people here with giving you information https://www.chameleonforums.com/how-ask-help-66/ And this is your first post to the forums and you joined in Oct?! not really welcome..but..happy first post? I'm not sure what to do in this situation
