She is safe know. If healthy they have very strong healing powers. Let her rest, get your husbandry checked so you are on a good path. I would not be concerned too much just keep an eye on it.
Fill out these questions and we can offer more help. My male suffere a parrot attack and is now fine. They are tough.
I’m sry but you are giving terrible advice here. How could you possible know she’s fine with out even seeing a picture and with little info. Then after the pic was provided you say she’s fine?
@Haley Hendrix she needs to see a vet ASAP.
Oh it is simple, it is called step by step. Hitting somebody knew with a ton of info and OMG $$$ vet bills does no good. It is too much info.
So we slow it down. We go one piece at a time so they understand it. For the next day or so the Cham is fine. This allows the owner to slow down, not get panicked them self and not only take, but understand the steps taken. Once they understand a bit more we can move on.
Example. Swelling with no reference point as a beginner, how would they know it is swollen, unless dramatic.
So if going slow is hard, you can just throw money at the problem and hope it goes away.

@jannb Can you help with vets ? Please read over care info . Your welcome to pm me with question . If you have friends that are in the vet world contact them to get referrals .What do I do? Is her leg swollen?
What do I do? Is her leg swollen?
She need a vet . She is not In Good condition . You do not have the experience needed to do this alone . Please do not take that as rude , mean , etc . You need a vet and experienced keepers to help you . We can get you on track as far as husbandry but she need a vet now .Lennoncham, what do you suggest I do? I plan on taking her to a vet this week. She also turns black when I’m in the room, I haven’t had her 2 weeks so it’s suspected for her to be nervous and scared around me. When she is left alone she is green.
so your telling me a Cham curled up in the corner completely black with sunken eyes and injuries and clearly dieing is fine?
Going slow? how much info do you need to give? They need to see a vet period. All husbrady can be fixed after they see a vet and get the urgent care needed.
So this is foolish, of course not. The question is not what we want , but what we can do. If a vet is not available, or a week away. Now what do you suggest??
We got it VET, but what to do until then, or if it is just not available.
well how would you know if a vet is available for them if you don’t ask or even suggest a vet?
I’m taking her to the vet this week
Hi. This may help you if needed to find a reptile vet in your area. Do keep in mind that not all are very experienced and knowledgeable about chameleons. Personally, I would take her sooner than later. Infections can spread throughout the body - called sepsis- and can be fatal. While your enclosure is beautiful, with all kindness I have to say very little about it is proper or correct for a chameleon. If your girl has had poor husbandry, she is less likely to be able to fight off infection and other problems. We can most definitely help get all of your husbandry corrected but first you need to have her wound taken care of. https://arav.site-ym.com/search/custom.asp?id=3661I’m taking her to the vet this week
