My chameleon fell, scratched up

Hi again,
My juvenile Jackson's chameleon was climbing onto my hand very quickly and slipped off. He did not seem fazed. The fall was only about 6 inches but I am extremely concerned because it left a few marks (see attached). This has never happened before and I don't know what to do about it. I think he hit a glass as he was going down, before falling onto the bathroom countertop. Whatever happened, it seemed like a short fall but apparently did more damage than I thought as the marks show. Are the marks a typical / temporary side effect of a fall? Is this something I should take to the vet? Thanks.

The marks look like bruises to me. A healthy cham can easily fall a lot farther than 6" without much if any harm. Think about their life in the wild.....falls happen. The marks should fade away in a day or so.

Thank you!!! They did fade.

Haha I've had my male veiled run off a counter top and he had some bruises. Just don't touch them and the guy won't care :)
