my chameleon ate a frangipani leaf

I have a veiled chameleon that I let climb onto a white frangipani(plumeria) plant I have. He seemed to be basking for a while and then unexpectedly started eating a leaf. I know veils sometimes eat greens but I didn't know he would be so bold. I pulled the leaf away and then he reached for another and managed to eat a bit of it. I am worried these leaves are toxic and can be harmful to him as they also produce a milky sap when broken.

this is what the leaves look like

I just want to know if I have anything to worry about even though he ate only a little:(

They are poisonous, so I would keep an eye on him. I'm not sure of what you can do now other than not let him climb on poisonous plants anymore. Maybe somebody else will have a better answer for you.
