That's what I thought but here in Denver they won't let you return bulbs, so I figured she wouldn't have $35 to go buy another plus the holder. Best to have something better than nothing...You can get him to live a normal healthy life if you act now. I've seen them worse than your and recover. Their casque stays smaller and their bone curved but they can go on to live a fairly normal life. He needs liquid calcium and the vet will most likely give him an injection to draw the calcium into the bones faster. If you can get him natural UVB outside that would also help allot. I'm not a fan of the coil bulbs and would never use them. Maybe you can take that bulb back and exchange it for a Reptisun 5.0. This is how I recommend keeping veileds.
