My cham likes to party all the time

So ive had my Panther chameleon for two months now. He was very scared of me initially. I worked out that his enclosure was in the wrong place for him, in our lounge with lots of traffic. Ive moved him to a quiet room, and have noticed that his personality has improved drastically. He climbed onto my hand for the first time a few days ago. I was ecstatic about it! However now whenever he sees me he makes it very obvious he wants.to roam. I have started letting him spend time in my wet room with a warm shower...he loves it.

The problem: I purchased a glass vivarium for him as a juvenile enclosure (see picture). Its far too small for him now (hes grown drastically since I got him). A 48x24x24 screen cage has been ordered...along with two tall plants to increase the surface area (see plants in picture next to juvenile enclosure).

Would you say that he hates his small enclosure so much that he takes the risk of being handled? He would be in and out all day if I let him.

He shed his skin a few days ago, and seems to have lost interest in food. Down to about 3-6 medium locust per day.

He is very active.

Here's a video of him exploring.

It is likely the small cage increases his desire to get out, but it doesn't mean he won't want to come out when he gets a larger cage. My male panther started out trying to bite me whenever I got close but by hand feeding he slowly became more friendly and now he wants to come out when I open the cage on occasion. Not all the time, but he is almost never agressive, and this is a 24x24x48 cage.

How much he will like to be handled really depends on his personality as well. He might take a while to adjust and get to the point of being handled again in the new cage, but by hand feeding you probably convince him.
