I got my cage setup but it feels like its missing something. i'lltry and get pics posted in a little. When i get them posted let me know if i need anything else in there.

some sort of drainage mechanism or a soft try becuase if your misting 3 times a day at least it will fill up or leak everywhere...they like to be soaked at least once a day

Is that organic soil? Are there little white beads in the soil? If so you need to put some of that shiny rock stuff over it or repot it.

right, im gonna repot the plant, all new soil and everything, umm im going to get a soft tray for the bottom, and the chameleon im gonna wait a week or so to get so i have everything ready and perfect

What is the lighting and heat source. Product names please........Nice plant.

Thats the same cage I have.. and yes, get a softtray. I havent yet and im using garbage bags.. It doesnt work well, is soaking the carpet, and rather smells funky...

What kind ya getting?

the heat source, is a 5 1/2 clamp lamp with a 65watt house bulb, and the overhead light is reptisun 5. UVB 18" bulb in a 20" fixture

Im gettin a viel cham. rather in expsenive, i also bought a 24x24x48 cage for when the cham gets bigger, and then i hopefully might get a 2nd cham if all is going well with the one

so does everything look in order to everyone?? i still am going today to get soft tray liner, some river rocks, i got a thermometer/hygro ordered comin in, im gonna wait botu 2 weeks to order the cham so i know everything is perfect. im going to buy a few more live plants

nice! I'm glad you follow the list
umm.. when you buy more live plants, buy the taller and bigger one.
the one that goes all the way to the top area of the cage.
let that tree be the main one and have the one you have as secondary plants.
I stop using silk plants after my first chameleon.

think about drainage, man.
I say post phone buying the chameleon until you solve the problem.
Try misting 4 times 5 minutes each misting and see how the water leaks everywhere.

im going today to get a few more plants, and to look at a bunch of various drainage systems or things i can use to make one. my idea is just basic, buying a little tupperware bin and set the cage on it with a plant stand in the bin so the plant can sit on it. nothing fancy really. lol
