He loops he has a similar ring around his pupil like Ryker does? Chameleons naturally have one but if you look at the picture of Ryker's eye the are thicker or oddly shaped. He shows severe sensitivity to uvb and artificial lighting of any kind... does your guy?

Yes very much trying to produce a shade type to dull down brightness around lights.

Yeah Ryker ended up getting bad enough that I purely rely on natural sun at the moment. For him a thicker woven bug screening on like most of it and there was a small part that was left uncovered but had a basking branch rather farther away so it didn't hurt his eyes as much. And of course provide as much plant coverage up there as possible. Then getting him outside in the sun/cloudy weather, for a couple hours a week will help with absorption.
