Hi there! I just wanted to see what ointments or cremes could help a scab/burn on the top of my chameleons casque. Any responses would be great!!! Thank you!!!

Flamazine is the best one I know of but you will likely need a prescription for it. Its used for mouth rot in snakes, etc. so you don't have to worry if a bit of it gets into the chameleon's mouth by accident. It is what they use for human burns as well, BTW.
I would agree. I am using Flamazine on my boy just now for small thermal burns. They are looking good. Am used to using it on humans where the results are fantastic. Good luck.
Silver Sulfadiazine 1% is also a good alternative.
I have a Vet around the corner from me who isn't a herp vet, but will order it for me for about 11 dollars. I don't even have to bring a Cham in
Just remember the thermals feel like a sunburn to us, so apply gently! !

Thx for the help!! I am using a neosporin now, but I wasn't too sure, I am getting him checked up in a week or two to get his annual check up, now I know what to buy! Hopefully the vet can give me some tips too. Thank you!
Flamazine=silver sulfadiazine=SSD. Sold generically under many names, but unfortunately is prescription.
By far and away, my number 1 for burns and topical infections in reptiles. Wonderful stuff. Just remember that where a mammal might heal in 2-3 weeks, it'll take a reptile 2-3 months for the same burn.
