Problem:my chameleon has been sleeping multiple times during the day at times he wears his whites but it concerns me since I know there not suppose to it seems healthy it eats n is active im just not sure why its doing this. does it been young have anything to do with it?

My suggestion is that youre feeding him too much, and the multivitamin should be done twice per month and D3 only twice per month...calcium dust daily on the food (but without D3) ...but then again im not an owner of a cham this is just what i would gather having read the forums...if he is a baby 12 crickets per day is good (not 25) if he is 4 months old it seems 7~10 is good...once he is 1 year old 6~ every other day is recommended? Anyway again i dont own one but this is what i remember from looking through the forums.

I do work for a medical company (humans :p)

Id try gutloading the crickets with a source high in fiber to help prevent gout since he has been eating that much he may be getting it. i dont know if any gutload has high fiber... but thats what we do for humans ^_^

But I dont really know anything so im not sure why i posted >.>

In my opinion your supplements are way off. Reptivite with D3 once a week is too much and minerall everyday is incorrect as well. Here is what I follow and it has worked out well for me. I got this schedule or close to it from different members here over the last couple of years.

Nearly every feeding- Rep-cal calcium phosphate free without D3 with light dusting! Do not overcoat the feeders. A light dusting is all that is required. I skip 1 or 2 days a week with no dusting and give straight insects.
Once a month - Rep-cal calcium phosphate free with D3 again lightly dusted.
Once a month- Rep-cal Herpivite mulit-vitamins lightly dusted
Once a month- Miner-All I (indoor formula).
I alternate the supplements for the last 3 on Friday of each week as follows.
Friday week 1- Rep-cal calcium phosphate free with D3 again lightly dusted
Friday week 2 - Rep-cal Herpivite mulit-vitamins lightly dusted
Friday week 3- Miner-All I (indoor formula) lightly dusted.
Friday week 4 -Either Rep-cal calcium phosphate free without D3 lightly dusted or straight insects.
