Paul - Hate to say it but the female that came in as an Ambanja was probably a Nosy Be. This is not an inbreeding issue from 2 generations.

How common are Jackson's by you???? Cause i have been searching for 3 years and S.A. has non!!!!!! Jackson's are extremely limited and go for a lot when found.

Ill give the smugglers a call and ask where they go and what they get again. Its sounds horrible and i hate smugglers but the reality is that i know them and they bring most animals into S.A.

A few got arrested earlier on in this year. The Oustaletts that they brought in are now safely at the one bird park by my house

All the Bradypodion is protected besides for the one province (Kwazulu Natal).

Its is not legal to export any wild cought chameleons from S.A.

I now that's illegal to export Bradypodions and I also know that S.A. is very strict there.
But I don't know if it's also illegal for inhabitants of this country to keep some of those amazing animals
