Mustard greens

My chameleon recently discovered mustard greens and he loves them. He eats around 10 dusted crickets a day but will also eat a mustard green leaf every day if I rip it up and put it in his bowl. Is it ok for him to eat this often or should i just give it as a treat?

Welcome to the forums. One leaf a day should be fine. You can mix it up and off different kinds of greens such as collards, dandelion, kale, endive and turnip. Mine slap like shredded carrot. I also offer fruit but only once a week because fruit is sweet.

I believe someone posted here recently, during a food breakdown, that mustard greens were a little high in phosphorous. Like jannb side, one leaf alternated with dandelion and others is a safer route. Variety has always been beneficial to chams. Silkworms, hornworms, mantids, dubia, stick bugs, moths, butterflies, superworms, etc... would also help.
