Mt. Kilimanjaro

Hi All,

Does anyone know what species of chameleon we might see while trekking Mt. Kilimanjaro? Is there a specific area of the mountain or time of year that might be best for this?

Thanks!

When I was in the area 6 years ago, I remember we found this lil guy, not sure which species it is, I just stumbled on that picture.

Oh how cool! I would really love to observe chams in their natural habitat, and will definitely have to brush up on my identifications skills before I go lol.

Do you remember which area you were in/which trek you did?

No sorry, it was more of a safari and we were passing through the area on our way somewhere else to go see some felines...
To this day I don't know how the tour guy spotted the cham, he just stopped the car while we were going fast and grabbed the cham, that guy has some special eyes...
I remember the area was stuffed with red head agamas and monkeys that would steal your food out of your hands XD

If I were to go all the way out there I might do a safari tour too, there's just so much to see!
