It's pretty dry and hot there, just make sure to allow plenty of shade and misting. Otherwise, dont see why not. Many people from cali keep their chams outside a lot.
One caution... there are predators everywhere. If they are staying out at night, I highly recommend a solar powered, motion sensor, led security light. You can get them $10 - $40 on Amazon.
