Moving concerns and care feedback

Hey everyone, I'm a first time cham owner and I have had my cham for a couple of months now, but I'm faced with an interesting concern. I have to move. So I need to ask what are your suggestions on going about a move without stressing the little guy too much. The move is not too far, but he will be out of his enclosure for an hour or more having to reset his plants back into place. Any thoughts to make this move easy on him, like what to hold him in while I drive him to the new place and set things back up?

Also I have a supplement question, is it okay for a 8 months old cham to have Calcium w/o D3 three times a week, Calcium w/ D3 twice a month, and Herptivite twice a month rotated with Cal D3? I'd like to know if I need to make adjustments for him.

As for the move, you could use a shoe box with some ventilation holes and a towel at the bottom. This will allow for a dark place to relax and something to grasp onto that will offer some security. Also a great way to transport to the vet if needed.

Awesome, that suppliment plan was what I started to use but in the last week I reduced the Calcium w/o D3 to 3 times a week, I move it back gradually to every feeding the way it was, the other two suppliments havent changed.

As for moving that helps, I didnt consider the towel, but that makes all the more sense. I dont want him to slide around and get agitated.
