Ok so cletus has mouth rot !!!! damnit this whole time I thought it was a URI with the bubbles from the mouth ! im sitting at my house theres a blizzard out side ! so tomorrow he will go to the hospital !

how do you know it is mouth rot? Did the vet say so? Wasn't he diagnosed with a RI?

He was a month or so ago but it came back again and he started getting scabs on his lips..... which he still has but im doing the best i can to clean it up and keeping his cage extra clean. I did hours of research last night and everything that is going on with him including the scabs it cant be anything else besides that.

For mouthrot its important to clean the areas out well, do a culture and sensitivity test and put the chameleon on he appropriate antibiotic. It's usually pseudamonas (sp)...and its often hard to get rid of.
