Mouth Rot?

Earlier i was holding Darwin and as I started to take a few pics he opened his mouth. He didn't hiss or seem to be bothered. Just opened his mouth for about 15 seconds. No sign of respiratory problems.

With mouth rot you're likely to see black puss spots around the lips when they are closed.
