Mouth open please help!!

My panther Cham is a male. He is about a year old. I found him just a minute ago. It looked like he was trying to sigh but he won't close his mouth. What is he doing? What does he need me to do?

He was in his basking spot. I turned on the rain dome.

The temperature might have been to hot for him.. How close to the lamp was he

He was about 12 inches below it. I just recently started using a higher powered bulb. So this could have deft been the problem. He did move down to a lower position and he does seem fine now. I'll check the temp and make any necessary adjustments. Thanks.

Yep.. That's definitely the problem.. Nothing to worry about just too warm
