Most likely Respiratory Infection

I have already called a vet and have an appointment for tomorrow in the morning. Initially, they said they didn't have anything until Monday but then called me back less than an hour later saying that they had a cancellation! Thank goodness! He went to the bottom of his enclosure this morning and I noticed not long after that he has been having his mouth open. He did make it back up into his branches but is not going to the top like he normally does. He is staying in the middle of his enclosure about 2 and a half to 3 feet down. On top of that, I do not have all of the correct lighting. His T5HO light and fixture is due to be here Friday. I feel like the biggest screw up EVER! I have one of the compact UVB coil lights and the basking bulb is correct. I don't know if I should put him in his travel container to get the UVB light right over him because I now know they do not emit the correct lighting far enough down to be of any help. He did eat a hornworm this afternoon which makes me feel hopeful but I worry horribly about the RI. Any advice or suggestions to do in the meantime until his appointment tomorrow in the morning first thing? Also, what is the average cost of RI treatment, not that it really matters. I am just curious on an average. Also, what are the typical procedures for an RI? This is my first owned chameleon. I have cared for one years ago and never had problems. I am wondering if I have adopted this little guy that already had some health issues.

I forgot pictures. Sorry!
