I'm not quite sure I understand what trixie moss is. I see a couple of problems with moss....many types of moss have tiny fairly sharp spines that a cham could swallow accidentally. They could cause intestinal injuries or blockages. Moss will eventually mold or decay. The moss isn't going to do much for your cham's setup...it won't raise the cage humidity much if it is just hanging strands. If your cham tries to climb the moss strands it will probably break under its weight. A small juvenile cham could injure itself if it falls incorrectly.

I would recommend avoiding moss as well. While it is beautiful to look at it does not stay that way long. The moisture required makes the cage susceptible to fungus gnats, which are a giant pain in the A$$! I removed all of the moss in my enclosure and replaced it with river rock, I am still trying to get rid of the gnats!

Moldy

My experience with moss is that it become Moldy very easily. Mold is not good for you Cham. Would recommend avoiding.
