Hi,
On this page I want to introduce you to one of F. pardalis colorchanging on the route from Ambanja to Nosy Faly . It is amazing how much the animals are changing the coloration at a distance of less than 50km.

Check out also all the other gallerys of F. pardalis. I add in all pages new pictures! For translation use the "google translator" in the upper right corner on my page.
I hope you like it.
kind regards from Germany

Thomas,

You might realize this but the middle locale you show is Ambato. The peninsula that you drive up from Ambanja to Nosy Faly is Ambato (the locale is also called blue diamond or turquoise blue). Nice depiction of this color transition!

thank you for comment,
yes thats right, from the middle of the peninsula around Ambasimbary up to the harbour Ambato I found the blue diamond morph.

Thomas,

Looks like you had a lot of fun :D Thanks for the link and great effort. It is appreciated by many. Now, if we can just find you some shoes ..... ;)

nice

very beautiful pictures. wish there was cheap water taxi you could take over to madagascar for a day trip! can't imagine how cool it would be to spend a few weeks there roaming around and taking pics of all the localized variations!
