First off I'd like to say what a blessing finding this forum has been. All you great owners have done a great job providing info for new cham owners such as myself. I got my juvi veiled a few days ago and could NOT be happier with her. ( her until I see bump or spurs)
With that said I wanted to post about my morning rutein. Light are on approx 830. I start my drip with the lights, Lucy will usually start moving around shortly after. 10 min or so after lights on and drip I do my morning spray. She doesn't really like being around when the "rain " starts and usually places herself under a leaf or something until its done. I usually put 5 dusted crickets in the cage a few min after spraying (more when I get home form work). She sleeps a really nice bright green (temp approx 65 at night) but in the AM she turns almost a camo color with light and darks greens and such. Is this normal? She usually climbs up by the basking area and stays this color scheme until I leave for work (an hour or so after lights on). As I look at her now there are a few crickets in the cage and 2 within 8 inches from her or so but she doesn't seemed interested in them just yet, but they will be gone when I get home from work. She just kinda chillin on the cage a few inches form her basking log.
When I come home from work she usually back to a nice green. and last night ate 5-10 min after me putting in crickets.
Does this sound like a normal Cham rutein in the AM. Sorry if this is a silly question but I'm loving this little gal and wanna make sure.
